This hotel was clean, had extremely helpful staff, comfortable beds, compact rooms with good Wi-Fi, and the rate was just £30.

Exceptionally friendly hotel located so close to Rascafría as well as beautiful surroundings. Comfortable room, a shower, a bidet, and bath sheets in the room. The view from the window to mountain. Nice stay, as always.

We greatly enjoyed our 2-night stay. the hotel boasts a stunning location near the cross-channel ferry and is conveniently close to Rascafría. the staff was super friendly, as was the host.

The location is excellent, surrounded by beautiful scenery. There’s a fantastic restaurant nearby that I really enjoyed. I also had the chance to try some drinks at the Lord High Admiral bar, which is just a 5-minute walk away.

This was my second stay at Rural Marcos and once again I was extremely pleased with everything. the location is wonderful, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains from the room. the bed was very comfortable and the owner, Miguel Angel, couldn't be more helpful. I will definitely be back!

We had a great time at Rural Marcos. The location was perfect for our walking adventures and the natural swimming area nearby was a refreshing escape from the heat. The hosts were incredibly helpful and caring, making us feel right at home. We also enjoyed the delicious menu del día, especially the outstanding Sunday meal. The staff provided excellent advice on places to visit and were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Despite a few minor drawbacks like the closed bar and restaurant, we found Rural Marcos to be good value for money. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

There were a few negative aspects during our stay. the room felt outdated and the bed was uncomfortable, leading to a restless night's sleep.

The staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly, making us feel right at home. The rooms may be old, but they are clean and well-maintained, with daily cleaning service. It was a great bonus to be able to bring our dog along. Despite being a basic hotel, it offers free Wi-Fi in rooms, off-site car park, luggage storage, a bar/lounge area, a restaurant. We enjoyed a typical Spanish breakfast with delicious toast, olive oil, and fresh tomato paste. it was a nice stay and a convenient location for an overnight stop.

They went out of their way to provide information and suggestions for our city trip. the location of the hotel was great, with easy access to the town center and nearby hiking trails. We also enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace, it was a lovely way to start our day.

The room could use some improvements, especially the shower. It would have been nice to have a more modern shower and better water pressure.
